Pioneering Personalized Learning with “The Standard Model”

In particle physics, the Standard Model is the most rigorously tested framework in human history—it is our closest mathematical approximation of how the entire universe operates from the ground up. The TORUS Standard Model Program applies that exact level of universal precision to your STEM education.

This definitive 16-week academic pipeline is designed to completely re-engineer how you process physics and mathematics, replacing academic entropy with a highly disciplined structure of theory and execution. Divided into four distinct blocks, the program breaks complex subjects down to their fundamental axioms. On weekdays, you will engage in two conceptual lectures, isolating the "fundamental particles" of the material. But theoretical physics is nothing without experimental verification. Every week culminates in an intensive weekend workshop dedicated entirely to rigorous problem sets (PSETs). This is your particle accelerator—the arena where abstract concepts collide with elite-level application.

Throughout the pipeline, you are armed with a complete analytical toolkit: 32 high-fidelity lecture slide decks and 16 targeted assignments designed to progressively expand your problem-solving capacity.

To ensure true mastery rather than temporary memorization, your progress is pressure-tested against reality. You will face a comprehensive midterm at the end of every four-week block, culminating in a rigorous final examination. In total, you must conquer 3 midterms and 1 final.

The Standard Model isn't just a tutoring curriculum; it is an academic crucible. By the end of these 16 weeks, you won’t just survive your university courses—you will command the fundamental mechanics of the material with absolute authority.

  • Anthonie Page

    FOUNDER

Anthonie Page is the founder of TORUS and a student at the Florida Institute of Technology, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He does not just teach the material; he actively researches the fundamental building blocks of the universe. Serving as a Research Assistant for the FIT High Energy Physics HEP-A Group, he collaborates on research related to the CMS Detector at CERN. Working alongside PhD students, he runs computer simulations to determine what Dark Matter is.

Anthonie’s educational philosophy deconstructs complex STEM subjects into foundational axioms. Certified by the National Tutoring Association (NTA), he serves as a Supplemental Instructor for Calculus and a Physics Peer Tutor at the FIT Student Success and Support Center (SSSC). His commitment to student execution is relentless—in Spring 2026, he was named the SSSC's Most Valuable Tutor after conducting the highest number of math tutoring appointments across the university.

Anthonie's mastery of these fundamental mechanics is backed by empirical, competitive results. In February 2026, he won the 1st Place Award in the Integration Bee at the MAA Florida Section Joint Meeting. His academic rigor, which includes a summer 2025 study abroad program at the University of Oxford, has also earned him the Best Undergraduate Research Poster award at both the MAA Florida Section Joint Meeting and the Ospreys Math Conference.

In April 2026, his dedication to student success and academic excellence was recognized with the FIT 2025-2026 Outstanding Senior Award and the FIT 2025-2026 Rising Student Leader of the Year Award. With TORUS, Anthonie has engineered a system that translates the precision of high-energy physics into an accessible, elite educational pipeline for the next generation of scientists and engineers.
